The new moon invites us into stillness—not as a pause from life, but as a powerful reset within it.

In this guided meditation, you’ll be led through a gentle process of reflection and release, helping you take stock of what felt aligned during the past cycle… and what didn’t. Without judgment or pressure to “fix,” this practice creates space to let go of what no longer serves you and reconnect with how you truly want to feel moving forward.

This isn’t about doing more.

It’s about softening, listening, and beginning again—intentionally.

Perfect for:

  • Emotional reset and nervous system regulation
  • Letting go of burnout, overthinking, or misalignment
  • Setting grounded, feeling-based intentions for the new cycle

All you need is a quiet space… and a willingness to be present with yourself.

Your reset starts here.

Welcome to this new moon meditation to rest, reset and reflect.

Begin by finding a comfortable position seated or lying down.

Let your body feel supported, held, and safe.

gently close your eyes and take a slow deep breath in through your nose and exhale softly through your mouth.

Again, inhale deeply.

and exhale, letting everything go.

One more time, full inhale.

and a long slow exhale.

Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm. No need to control it, just notice.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest.

the subtle movement of your body with every breath And with every exhale, allow yourself to arrive more fully here.

Now bring your awareness to your body.

Notice where you might be holding tension. Your jaw, your shoulders, your stomach, your hips.

And without forcing anything, just invite those areas to soften.

Let your shoulders drop a little heavier. Unclench your jaw. Soften your brow.

There's nothing you need to do right now, nowhere else you need to be. This is your space to rest.

Now imagine yourself standing beneath a vast dark sky, the night of the new moon.

The sky is deep, quiet, and expansive. No bright moonlight, just stillness, potential, possibility.

This is the energy of the new moon. A moment of pause, a sacred reset.

And as you stand here, feel the calm, the spaciousness, the invitation to begin again.

Now gently bring your awareness inward.

Reflect on this past moon cycle, the last few weeks of your life.

without judgment, without criticism, simply observe.

and reflect.

What felt aligned for you these past few weeks?

what felt nourishing, supportive, or expansive.

Allow those moments to rise gently to the surface.

Maybe it was a decision you made, a boundary you honored, a moment where you chose yourself.

Just notice those moments and silently acknowledge this work.

Now, just as gently, bring awareness to what didn't feel aligned these past few weeks.

What felt heavy, draining or out of sync? Again, no judgments. This is not about getting it right. This is about awareness.

Maybe there were patterns, moments of overextension.

times that you ignored your own needs.

Simply observe and softly acknowledge, this didn't serve me.

Now take a slow, deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine releasing any weight, any tension, any lingering energy from what didn't serve you.

You don't need to carry it forward.

With every exhale, let it dissolve into the darkness of the night sky, where it can be transformed, neutralized, and released.

Breathing in and exhaling, letting it all go.

Now in this space of release, you create room. Room for clarity, room for intention, room for something new. The new moon is not about forcing action. It's about planting seeds.

So take this moment to gently ask yourself, what do I want to feel moving forward? Not what do I need to do, but how do I want to feel?

Perhaps it's grounded, peaceful, energized, supported, or clear.

Just allow one or two words to come to you naturally.

Now imagine if those feelings were seeds, small glowing points of light resting in your hands.

These seeds hold your intentions, your desires, and your truth.

And when you're ready, imagine placing those seeds into the earth beneath you, trusting that even in the darkness, growth is already beginning. You don't need to force it. You don't need to rush it. Your only role is to nurture, to trust, to allow.

Bring your awareness back to your breath, inhaling slowly and exhaling fully.

Feel your body again, supported, grounded, present.

Notice the calm you've created, the clarity and the openness.

Before we close our practice, take a moment to offer yourself gratitude for showing up, for reflecting, for being willing to release and begin again.

Quietly say to yourself, I honor where I've been.

I release what no longer serves me.

I trust what is unfolding.

Now begin to deepen your breath, gently wiggle your fingers and your toes, slowly bringing movement and awareness back into your body.

And when you're ready, open your eyes. Carry the sense of calm, of intention and trust with you throughout the rest of your day. Your reset has already begun.
