Welcome to this full moon meditation for fall and the harvest season.

Take a deep breath in and let it go. Allow yourself to settle into this space, whether seated or lying down. Feel the earth supporting you beneath.

Close your eyes, soften your jaw, and bring your awareness to your breath.

With each inhale, breathe in calm, steady energy. With each exhale, release what no longer serves you.

The full moon shines at its brightest, illuminating all that has been hidden in shadow. It is a time of culmination, clarity, and release. In the season of fall, the full moon connects us with the energy of the harvest. It reminds us to gather the fruits of our labor, to reflect on what has been grown from the seeds we once planted, and to release what no longer needs to be carried forward.

The Harvest Moon is a time to pause, to give thanks for abundance, and to prepare for the quieting months ahead. Just as the trees let go of their leaves, we too are invited to release, making space for rest and renewal.

Imagine yourself standing in a field under the glow of the full autumn moon. The air is cool and crisp, scented faintly with leaves and earth. The moonlight pours down like silver, illuminating the world around you.

Before you lies a field of abundance, golden wheat, pumpkins, apples, the fruits of a season's labor. This is your harvest. Each crop, each piece of fruit symbolizes something you have worked toward, big or small, that has come to fruition in your life.

Take a moment to notice the bounty before you. Breathe in gratitude for what you have created, learned and received. Allow your heart to expand with thanks for the opportunities, the lessons and the growth that has filled your season.

Now as you walk through the field, you notice that not all plants bore fruit. Some seeds did not sprout, some efforts did not grow, and that is natural. As you stand in this moonlight, you're invited to gently release disappointment, worry, or old stories that no longer serve you.

Visualize placing these dried, withered stalks into a basket. Thank them for their presence, and with your breath, release them back to the earth. Let them be transformed into fertile soil for the future.

Stay here for a few breaths, affirming silently. I honor my harvest. I release what is complete. I open myself to the cycles of change.

The moon shines brightly above, a reminder that you are part of this greater cycle of growth, harvest, and release. Slowly bring your awareness back to your body. Notice the rise and fall of your chest, wiggle your fingers and toes, and when you're ready, take one last deep breath and gently open your eyes. Carry with you gratitude for your harvest. Peace in your heart.

and trust in the turning of the seasons.
